Virginia M. Prochnow, age 98 of Wauwatosa passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Markesan Resident Home in Markesan. She was born on February 8, 1924 the daughter of Alderck and Frances Beaudin in Green Bay. Virginia married Frank Prochnow and together they enjoyed a more than 70 year marriage before his passing in 2016.
Virginia is survived by her son, James (Judy) of Weyauwega, daughter, Julie (special friend, Greg) Marshall of Princeton as well as five grandchildren: Amy Prochnow, Heather (Andy) Drew, Tim (Holly) Marshall, Melissa (Kate) Prochnow and Lynn (Jordan) Chaplin. She is further survived by seven great-grandchildren: Annalyse and Bentley Prochnow, Landon and Dylan Drew, Lucas and Abby Marshall, Crew Chaplin and Hensley Prochnow as well as several nieces and nephews.
Virginia is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Frank (they would have been married 78 years on May 3) as well as two sisters, two brothers and five sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law and Frank’s parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 10, 2022 at Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 2322 S. 106 Street, West Allis, WI. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the hour of service at the church. Father Matthew Perumpil will preside and entombment will follow the mass at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield.
