Our beloved Nanny, Mama, Sis, Aunt Gin, and friend, Virginia Wilson, 88 of Bowling Green went home to be with our Lord on Monday, November 25, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was a member of Fairview Memorial Missionary Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband Lee Hendrick Wilson, her parents Marshall and Hester Jessie Morgan and two of her brothers Rev. Wendell Morgan of Hiseville and Wayne Morgan of Greenwood, Indiana. She loved children and helped to raise many as she also worked as a co-owner/manager of a Merle Norman Cosmetic Studio and Hair Salon in Glasgow, KY and a retail clerk at the Prissy Hen and JCPenney's in Bowling Green. While in Glasgow, she was a faithful member of Grider Memorial Baptist Church. She studied her Bible daily and by example led many others to the Lord. Survivors include her children Michael Lee Wilson (Carmen) of Bowling Green and Hester Carol Perdew (Howard) of Monticello; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Wilson Bryant (Jason), Sarah Neal Johnson (Nathan), Michael Lee Wilson, Jr. (Larah), Westin Marshall Wilson of Sarasota, Jordan Ross Wilson, Trevor Blackston Wilson and Joanna Lee Gilligan (Jonathan) all of Bowling Green; ten great-grandchildren: Lincoln Hawk Bryant, Kelly Neal Bryant, Finn Matthew Bryant, Caroline Elizabeth Johnson, Corbin Layne Johnson, Michael Lee Wilson, III, James Lawrence Wilson, Jon William Gilligan, Cooper Lee Wilson and Kinley Grace Wilson all of Bowling Green; one brother Marshall Morgan, Jr. of Indiana; several nieces and nephews and many special friends. Funeral services will be Sunday, December 1, 2019 at 2:00 pm at J.C. Kirby & Sons, Lovers Lane Chapel with burial to follow in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
