Virginia M. (Leveillee) Masotti, 91, of Bristol, widow of Michael Masotti, Jr.,a decorated Korean war veteran, passed away peacefully on Oct. 30, 2022. Born on Sept. 10, 1931 in Worcester, MA, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Rose (Phaneuf) Leveillee. Virginia was a stay-at-home mom for the majority of her life. She cherished her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and loved nothing more than to cook and bake for everyone. Virginia had a very strong faith and would never miss watching her daily mass or praying her rosary. Virginia is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Stephan and Kimberly Masotti; her daughter and son-in-law MaryLynn and Stuart Rosenberg, and her daughter-in-law Diane Masotti, all residing in Bristol; five grandchildren Misty, Becky, Kevin, Lauren and Michael; 12 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Virginia was predeceased by her son Michael Masotti III, and 16 brothers and sisters. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday morning at St. Anthony Church, 111 School St., Bristol, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday evening from 4-8 p.m. at DuPont Funeral Home, 25 Bellevue Ave., Bristol. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Francis Foundation's Hope and Healing Campaign, floor 8-1 hospice unit.
