
Virginia Ruth Adams Covington

Virginia was born to Morris J. Adams and Ruth R. Hope Adams. She was the oldest of five children. She had a wonderful personality with a smile and a laugh that would light up any room she entered. She learned charity early on in life and helped others every chance she had.
Virginia married her life long spouse, Jerry Delbert Covington and was sealed in the Prove Utah LDS Temple April 18, 1975. Her extended family includes her step mom Carolyn R. Adams, six step siblings, 20 nephews and 25 nieces, 33 great nephews and 21 great nieces.
Her many callings in the LDS church included camp director, cub scout leader, Relief Society music conductor and Primary Presidency Counselor.
Virginia spent the last few years of her life fighting many different health issues. It was only a few days to a week before her death that she was diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. Even in her last days when she was unable to move much on her own she still had her beautiful smile on her face.
Virginia lived a wonderful life and was loved by many people. Funeral services were held June 7, 2013 at the Ivins 2nd ward chapel in Ivins, Utah.
