Violet Jean Braswell

BRASWELL- Violet Jean Braswell, age 92 of Lawrenceville, GA, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 27, 2023 in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Shirley Wright and Rev. Scott Osborne officiating. Interment will follow at Rock Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery, Lawrenceville, GA. Violet Jean worked as a LPN at Button Gwinnett Hospital and the first Nursing Homes in Lawrenceville and Buford. She was very artistic and spent many hours drawing, painting, carving and quilting. Throughout her lifetime, fishing remained her hobby of choice! She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Vernon Dean Braswell; sons, Timothy Dean Braswell and Anthony Gene Braswell; great grandson, Mason Dean Braswell; parents, Raymond and Mattie Lee (Holcombe) Hanson. Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly (Joe) Paff of Lawrenceville, Cindy (R.C.) Carter of Winder, Claudia Kay (Scott) Osborne of Wrightsville; daughter-in-law, Linda Braswell of Dacula; grandchildren, Dana Wallace, Chris Pendergrass, Lorenzo (Lauren) Ambrogi, Kevin (Bonnie) Braswell, Amanda (Matthew) Tullis, Ashley (Kevin) Nash, Natasha (Brian) Cloer, Sabrina Burns (Vu Phan), Robert Braswell, Michael Paff, Matthew Paff (Danny Webb), Jeffery (Debra) Paff, Christina (Rodney) Willson, Paula Hudson, Jeremiah Carter; many great grandchildren; numerous family and friends.
