Vincent F. Difini Sr, 87, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed away on June 22,2024 at home with his family by his side.
Vince was born in New York City on May 17, 1937 to Virginia (Cagnina) and Mariano Difini. His early years were spent in Hackensack NJ. He was a graduate of Newark College of Engineering with a Bachelor of Science degree then he received his Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University. After graduating, Vince lived in Cambridge MA where he met the love of his life on a blind date.
Shortly thereafter, Vince moved to Framingham MA to continue his career in the aerospace field at Raytheon. In 1998, he retired and spent many days on the course at Millwood Golf Course, one of his favorite spots. After leaving Framingham, Vince settled in Punta Gorda Fl, where he enjoyed golfing at Sable Trace and Kings Island.
Vince was also an avid boater and enjoyed taking his boat to his favorite spots around Boca Grande, Cayo Costa and Cabbage Key. He also loved to explore the shore lines of Charlotte Harbor.
Vince is survived by his loving wife, Enid (Flynn) Difini, his wife of 57 years; his children, John Difini (Colleen), Elizabeth Kovalsky (John) and his five amazing grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Kristina, Abigail and Andrew. He was predeceased in death by his son Vincent F. Difini Jr.
