Vincent Bonkowski, 74, went home to the Lord on April 30. 2020. Vince is survived by his wife Sharon (Klein); brother, Terry Bonkowski (Carol); sister, Debbie Siress (Tom); sister-in-law, Virginia Bonkowski (the late Jim); nieces and nephews; a loving family, and special friends. Vince was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and lived in Sterling Heights, Michigan before moving to The Villages, Florida in 2006. Later, in 2014 he moved to Summerfield, Florida. Vince served in the United States Navy from 1965-1969 as an Aviation Electronics Technician. Vince retired from the telephone company in Michigan, then went on to work for EDS, Radio Shack and Walmart. Vince was a devoted member of First Baptist Church At The Villages on CR 42 in The Villages. A Celebration of Life will take place at another time. Vince will be buried at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Leesburg, Florida. Jesus promised, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.
