Vincent Mark Anthony Abrego, age 41, passed away unexpectedly Friday, September 17, 2021.
Vincent was born on September 23, 1979 in Pharr, Texas. He attended Edinburg High School and after graduating, began his career in the automotive industry at Bert Ogden in Edinburg. Several years later he moved to Payne Motor Group in Weslaco where he worked in the finance department. After working in Weslaco, Vince was given the opportunity to expand his job title in the Finance and Insurance business office at Penske Automotive Group in Pharr. Within the last year, he was promoted to Director of Finance at Hyundai of Pharr.
He was a loving husband, an amazing father and faithful friend. He had a huge heart and always wanted to make sure everyone was taken care of before himself. Although many knew Vince as a businessman, behind that tough exterior was a compassionate soul who performed many unknown acts of kindness for family, friends, and neighbors. His beautiful eyes, smile, and laughter could light up a room. He leaves behind a legacy of goodness, generosity, and love.
He is survived by his loving wife, Tara Leigh and their two children, Vincent Mark Anthony, Jr., and Lauren Kathleen, the joy of his life; his mother Angela Ramona Abrego and father, Marco Antonio (Patricia) Abrego .
