Vilma Zaldivar passed away peacefully in the arms of the lord on June 8th, 2022, with her family by her side.
Vilma was born on November 21st, 1934, in San Salvador, El Salvador. to her parents Colonel Erasmo Caranza & Margarita Lopez. She was the oldest of 10 Siblings.
In 1955 she married the love of her life Jose Rafael Zaldivar from Santiago de Maria, El Salvador.
A year later they started a family with their first-born Jose Rafael Zaldivar Jr, a few years later they had their 2 daughters Nuria Jacqueline & Kirna Ivette Zaldivar. The family has lived in California since 1979.
Vilma was a homemaker who loved to entertain family and friends at her house. She would host and prepare events in which everyone was welcome. Another of her passions was to watch sport games like baseball and soccer with her family, especially games that involved her favorite soccer team F. C. Barcelona.
Vilma was a devoted Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. Her priority was always her family. She was a soft-spoken woman with a big heart.
She will be sadly missed by all of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter Adriana Jessica Zaldivar, her late siblings Milton, Rene, and Doris Carranza.
She is survived by her husband Jose Rafael Zaldivar, son Jose Rafael Zaldivar Jr, Daughter in law Rita Zaldivar, Daughters Nuria Zaldivar, Kirna Zaldivar and grandson Giovanni Hernandez. Her brothers Tony Carranza & family, Nelson Carranza & family, Rolando Carranza. Her sisters Sonia Carranza & family and Mirna Escalante de Villatoro. Vilma is survived by several cousins, nephews and nieces.
