Dr. Vijayaraghavan "Raj" Rajendran

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dr. Vijayaraghavan “Raj” Rajendran, who left us at the end of August. He was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and a dear friend to all.

Dr. Rajendran was known as a trusted physician who brought healing and comfort to many, but also a kind, stoic, and thoughtful man who was a leader in the medical community. His smile, intellect, and compassion will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Genesis Health Services Foundation to support Nursing Education in honor of Dr. Vijayaraghavan Rajendran. This further supports a fund he supported in the Quad Cities designated to benefit nursing care in the community, which he believed was a critical and overlooked need for better patient care.
