Garcia Mortuary
Victor John Cisneros, born on June 24th, 1950 in Los Angeles, California passed away at the age of 68, surrounded by loved ones on August 22nd, 2018.
His loved ones knew him best as "Johnny." He was an Alcohol and Drug Treatment Specialist for over 17 years and was dedicated to his profession. He was a devout parishioner of the Santa Clara Church in Oxnard. He will be remembered most for being a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was an avid reader who also enjoyed watching movies and boxing matches or he could be found kicking back listening to Oldies. He will forever be remembered by his family as a man of wisdom, dignity and honor.
He will be reunited in Heaven with his father, Sotero Cisneros, mother, Linda Cisneros and brother, Frank Cisneros.
He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife of 25 years, Rita Cisneros, his sisters Sylvia Esqueda, Emily Sharp (Tony), his children Christina Sinclair (Jeff), and Veronica Castillo, five grandchildren; Ryan Sahagen (Jacob), Chad Sinclair, Kyle Sinclair, Megan Canales, Jason Canales Jr.; two great-grandchildren, Anabella Sahagen and Nikolai Sahagen. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 10:00pm on Thursday, August 30, 2018 with a rosary to begin at 7:00pm at the Garcia Mortuary Chapel located at 629 South A Street. Oxnard, CA 93030. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00am on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Santa Clara Church located at 323 South E Street, Oxnard, CA 93030. Interment to follow at Santa Clara Cemetery, 2370 North H Street, Oxnard, CA 93036.
