Ballard Family Mortuary
Vernon Stephen Torino passed away on August 4, 2023 at his home in Makawao, Maui. He was born in Honolulu on November 21, 1949.
His service will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Ballard Family Mortuary in Kahului with prayer service to begin at 6 p.m. Second day funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Makawao. Family visitation will be from 8:45 a.m., Public visitation from 9:45 a.m., Eulogy 10:45 a.m. and Mass to start at 11:00 a.m.; Vernon will be laid to rest at Maui Veterans Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.
Vernon is survived by his wife, Agnes Torino; his brother, Joseph Alatalo; his two daughters, Maria and Benedetta (BJ); his five grandchildren, Tomasi, Stephen, Ryan, Clara-Josephine and Kaleole'a; his two great-grandchildren, Moa'e and Reyna.
