Our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, VerNae Fredrickson Hindberg, 94, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, surrounded by family at her home in Plain City, Utah. She was born on February 7, 1928, to Vernon and Lavon Clark Fredrickson. She was raised in Avon and attended schools there. She also lived in Ogden, Brigham City, and Plain City.
VerNae married Edwin "Ted" Christensen and they had 3 children; they later divorced. She married Arthur Hindberg and gained 6 more children.
She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served in the Relief Society, Primary, and in the library.
VerNae worked at Wurlitzer Piano as a Piano Tuner and Quality Control at Iomega.
She was a go getter, hard worker, and caregiver to all. She enjoyed gardening and flowers, fishing, and camping. She loved animals, and loved her children and grandchildren. She took pride in her yard and was a meticulous housekeeper. She was raised on a farm and was a hard worker. She was an avid genealogist and had a great memory.

VerNae is preceded in death by her husband Arthur in 2010, 5 brothers, and 1 sister.
She is survived by her dear children: Hal Christensen (Holly), Jay Christensen (Debbie), and Jill Johnson (Henry); sisters: Marie Archibald and Jennavee Wolfe (Steve); 15 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Plain City 7th Ward, 2952 North 4200 West, Plain City, Utah. Viewings will be held the night before on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and prior to the service on Wednesday, from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m., both at the church house. Interment will be at the Avon City Cemetery.
