Mrs. Verna Mae Hartlage, 70, 1126 Third St., died 2 p.m. Sunday at her residence. She had been ill two weeks.
Born Oct. 3, 1891, at Proctorville, she was a daughter of Charles and Etta Mae Goodall Brammer. She was married Jan. 18, 1913 to Clifton J. Hartlage.
Surviving are the husband; four sons, Bernard, 610 Fifth St., John, 1805 Sixth St., Robert, 1601 Third St., David, 1561 Charles St.; three daughters, Mrs. Jane Keevil, 1604 Fourth St., Mrs. Ruth Pelliegrinon, 1526 Sixth St., Miss Lorraine Hartlage at home; two brothers, Cecil, 1655 Jackson St., Arlie of Clearwater, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Goldie Schwoebel, 1007 Third St.; 18 grandchildren and a great grandchild.
Mrs. Hartlage was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and two sisters.
Funeral services are to be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Melcher Funeral Home. Burial is to be at Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
