Vera Mae Baker-Henley, age 83 of Clinton, Tennessee, joined the Lord and her beloved husband on April 25, 2020 at Commonwealth Senior Living. "Susie", as she was known by many, was a faithful member of Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church and active in the choir for over 50 years. She worked for the Department of Energy for several contractors for 40 years.
Susie was preceded in death by her prior husband, Robert Phil Baker; husband, William R. Henley; parents, Arthur Joe and Marguerite Kelley Fulton; and brother, Charley Fulton. She is survived and will be deeply missed by her sons, Arthur Clyde Baker and wife Julie, Phillip Craig Baker and wife Pam; step-sons, William Gregory Henley, and Scott Brian Henley; grandchildren, Matthew Baker, Emily Baker, Paige Baker, Payton Baker, Preston Baker, Megan Henley, Lauren Henley, William Henley, and Hannah Henley; and other extended family and friends.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the entire staff at Commonwealth Senior Living as well as the Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church Emmaus Sunday School Class for their loving support and prayers.
The Family will have a Private Funeral Service on Wednesday, April 29th at 11:00am, and invites you to join them on the Berry Highland South Funeral Home's Facebook Page for the Livestreamed Service. A Private Entombment will follow. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church in her memory would make her smile. Berry Highland South is honored to serve the Baker-Henley family and invites you to view and sign their online guestbook and photos at berryhighlandsouth.com.
