Venable Deel

Venable Deel, 75, of Maryville , TN passed away Sunday, December 22, 2024, at Ben Atchley Veterans Home, Knoxville, TN. Born March 25, 1949, in Grundy, VA, he was the son of the late Fred and Alta Deel. Venable was a Vietnam Veteran and loving grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by great grandson, Stephen Deel, brothers Armis Deel, Troy Deel, Leon Deel, Jeff Deel, and Fred Alan Deel; and sisters Evelyene Bentley and Juanita Deel. Survivors include son Anthony Deel and wife Darlene of Maryville, TN; granddaughter Halie Deel of Maryville, TN; grandson Alexander and wife Amanda of Maryville, TN; sisters Venice Church of Prater, VA and Dinah Sauer of Haysi, VA; and brother Richie Deel of Haysi, VA; as well as ex-wife Eleanor Deel of Cedar Bluff, VA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends. Per Venable's wishes, he is to be cremated and there will be no services.
