Valore Kuhn, 88, went to be with Our Lord on February 9, 2025, from Canyon Vista Hospital in Sierra Vista, Arizona.
Val was born in Halfway, Missouri, to Bryan and Sylvia Kuhn on August 3, 1936. He was the last of 5 brothers Vern, Wayne, Darrel, Donald and Dale with one sister Jackie. Val served his country in the Army from 1956 to 1959 in Korea.
January 16, 1960, Val married Donna Lessley in Laramie, Wyoming. He worked at the missile base in Cheyenne.
Soon after, he was a powder monkey for Wyoming Const. Val worked for Northern Gas in the late sixties where he retired 30 years later in 1995 as Superintendent of Service.
Val was active in AAU Swimming when his 2 children Becky and Danny were small. He was a member of First Baptist Church and served as Trustee. Val was an accomplished scroll saw artist.
Val is survived by Donna, his wife of 65 years, Becky (Rick) Wilson, Danny Kuhn, 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Val will be remembered for his quick wit and colorful stories and sense of humor.
