Visitation for Valentina Sarmiento will be Saturday, January 13, 2024, from 2pm-4pm at All Families Mortuary in Burke Texas.
"Tina" Sarmiento passed away January 10, 2024, in Diboll, Texas. She was born in Ameca, Zacatecas, Mexico to Pedro and Manuela Sarmiento. She was a loving daughter, mother, and sister and grandmother. She worked at the Burke Center for many years. She was an easy-going person the type to never meet a stranger. You would often see her checking out books at the local library. She had a love of books and her soap operas. But more than anything she loved her "baby boys" her grandkids were her light in her eyes. She was loved dearly by everyone.
She is survived by her husband Gerardo Jimenez, parents Pedro and Manuela Sarmiento. Her sister Gregoria Cabrera, Nicolasa, Maria, and Diana Sarmiento. Her brothers Juan and Antonio Sarmiento. brother-in-law Jorge Cabrera. Her son and daughter in law Eric and Elisabet, grand kids Evan and Lucas Sarmiento. nieces and nephews Aimee, Issac, and Isabella Sarmiento Manuel, Jerry, and Kristina Lopez Amber and Jeanette Cabrera. She will be missed by many. We love you ma.
