Vada Pauline Brown, 93, of Sabillasville, MD, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2021, at the Parker House in Quincy, PA.
Born April 28, 1928, in Fairfield, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Gladhill and Mary (McKissick) Gladhill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert "Dick" Brown.
She attended St. John's Church of Christ in Sabillasville, MD, where she was a very active member of the lady's guild and attended Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Lantz, MD.
She was a homemaker and employed over the years at Claire Frock in Thurmont and Victor Cullen Center in Sabillasville.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
She is survived by daughters, Sandra Leisner and Pamela Cauthen and husband Donald, grandchildren, Rich Leisner, Rhonda D'Alessio and husband Rick and Christopher Cauthen and wife Chrissy, six great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Helen Pryor and three brothers, Sheridan Gladhill, Lawrence Gladhill and Carroll Gladhill.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 3, 2021, at 2:00pm at Germantown Bethel Church of God, Cascade, MD, with Pastor Mark Hosler officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery.
