Uriah Alan May, 33, of Norman Park died Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011 in Colquitt County.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Lifespring Community Church with burial to follow at Buck Creek Church Cemetery. The Rev. Julian Griner will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday at Baker Funeral Home. Jason May, Matthew May, Andy Williams, Corey Baker, Shannon Baker, Robbie Rutland, Randal Seymore, Jessie Lott and Ridge Bullard will serve as pallbearers.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Floyd and Gladys Baker and Emory and Mary Betty May.
Mr. May was born Sept. 28, 1977 in Moultrie to Roger Alan May and Judy Baker May, both of Norman Park.
He was employed with Utilco Railroad Services with the derailment crew.
Survivors include his wife, Carly Rebecca Williams May of Tifton; sons, Jadon May and Paul Urijah May of Tifton; a brother, Matthew May of Norman Park; and sisters, Melanie Williams, and husband Andy, and Mary Baker, and husband Al, all of Norman Park.
Baker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
