Tyran David Cotton departed this life on Friday, June 24, 2022, in Waveland Mississippi. He was 49 years old and a longtime resident of Harvey, LA. Beloved son of John W. and Janice B. Cotton. Husband of Veronica Banks Cotton. Father of Kayla, Kellie, Kelsea, Kiran, Koi, and Tyran. Brother of Revy (Chris), Yvette (Vincent), John (Latisha) and Ira. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and other relatives and devoted friends. Relatives and friends of the family, employees of Jefferson Parish School Board, A-1 Delivery and Reliable Soil Trucking (GSP) are invited to attend the funeral service on Friday, July 8, 2022, at Second Zion Baptist Church #1, located at 2929 Second Street, New Orleans LA 70113. The visitation will begin at 8 a.m. followed by a 10 a.m. service. Pastor Jerry D. Davis Jr. will officiate, and entombment will follow in Mt.
