Tyler Stephenson, of Covington, passed away Monday, April 4, 2022, at the age of 30. Tyler was a 2010 graduate of Eastside High School and a member of the IBEW 613 in Atlanta. He was currently employed by Allison Smith Electrical where he built lasting comradery and friendships with his coworkers. Being mechanically inclined, Tyler could work on anything and always tinkered with boats and boat motors. He enjoyed racing motorcycles and four-wheelers, and in his younger years, playing recreational and travel baseball. In addition, Tyler was an avid hunter and especially liked deer hunting and duck hunting. He adored his pit bull, Abel. Tyler will be missed dearly by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Linda Tilson; paternal grandfather, Jack Stephenson, Sr.; and aunts, Melissa Wilson, Tanya Stephenson, Sonya Tuck.
Survivors include his mother, Mandy Reagin (Tracy); father, Lewis Stephenson (Randi); sisters, Tiffany Lynch (David), Megan Pallay (Peyton), Kayla Reagin; maternal grandfather, Jerry Tilson; paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Stephenson; uncle, Adam Wilson; niece, Emily Lynch; nephew, Ethan Lynch; as well as many great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins.
A Funeral Service for Tyler was be held Tuesday, April 12, 2022, 3:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Jason Johnson officiating, and interment followed in Lawnwood Memorial Park.
