Tyler James Personett, 26, of Ligonier, went to be with Jesus on Thursay, April 29, 2021. He was born May 17, 1994, in Latrobe, a son of Dale and Karin Personett. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jason L. Personett, 39; his maternal grandparents, Glenn and Loretta Rowe; and his paternal grandparents, DeAlton and Bernell Personett. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Layla James Personett; his siblings, Chad (Colleen) Personett and Heather Personett; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Tyler was passionate about his business, Darkside Coffee Roasters. He greatly enjoyed working alongside his dad at farmer's markets and other events, where he always had a smile, amazing coffee and a kind word for everyone. Tyler, a sweet and gentle soul with many friends, was willing to help anyone in need. A loving Daddy to his daughter, Layla, he said of her, "I didn't know you could love someone that much! ... No words express this deep love!" Layla lit up and squealed with delight when she saw her Daddy. She was the joy of his life. Tyler's love for God was displayed in his concern and kindness for others. He is deeply loved and missed by his family and friends. A memorial service to celebrate Tyler's life will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 5, at Linn Run State Park, Adam's Falls Pavilion. In honor of Tyler's life, there will be pictures, music and Tyler's favorite coffee, Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, served in his memory. There will also be a time to share a special memory of Tyler. If you would like to visit the gravesite, it is located at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Laughlintown. Tyler and Jason's graves are next to the small tool shed.
