ACRES WEST FUNERAL CHAPEL
Trinna Angeline Dunn, age 87, passed from this life on Thursday, August 23, 2018. She was born in Hineston, Rapides Parish, LA on March 23, 1931 to the late Joseph Matthew and Elizabeth (Lynch) Treadway Matchett (Lynn). She married her loving husband, Wallace E. Dunn in Glenmora, LA on October 15, 1953. They enjoyed almost 40 years together before separated by his death on June 8 1991. She was employed as a Steno Secretary for the Civil Service for 20 years at Ft. Bliss, Okinawa and White Sands Missile Range. After retirement, she assisted her husband at Tiqua Exxon and Dunn's Automotive Service.
Trinna was a devout Christian. She was also a member of El Paso Order of the Eastern Star Woodbine Chapter #738 (formerly Ysleta Chapter #991), El Paso Daughters of the Nile Rosetta Temple #61, El Paso Social Order of the Beauceant Assembly #141, El Paso Order of the Easter Star Rob Morris Daylight Chapter #759, Oakville Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 521 and Odessa Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 447. She was Past Matron for Order of the Eastern Star Chapters 759, 521 & 447 & Past President of Social Order of the Beauceant Assembly 141.
Trinna was predeceased in death by two daughters: Opal Elizabeth Dunn Vernon Langberg & Rebecca Anne Dunn Coupland.
She is survived by her sister: Minnie Treadway Smith Pittman (Hugh) of El Paso; her brother: Paul Aaron Treadway (Joan) of Ontario, CA.; her children: Audrey Faye Dunn Nance Glenn (Rodger) of Three Rivers, TX, Jean Marie Dunn Drugan (James) of Odessa, TX, Wallace Edward Dunn Jr. (Thana) of Odessa, TX and Roberta Lynn Dunn Dobie (Richard) of Three Rivers, TX; 19 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren.
There will be a family visitation Tuesday, August 28, 2018 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Acres West Funeral Chapel.
A celebration of Trinna's life will be at Living Word Baptist Church in Odessa, TX on Wednesday, August 29, 2019 at 11:00 am. Pastor Jessie Gore will officiate the service. Pallbearers include, Rodger Glenn, James Drugan, Richard Dobie, Wallace Dunn, Thomas Nance IV, Jason Drugan, Michael Drugan and Lyndon Nance.
Graveside services with Order of the Eastern Star officiating will be at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery at 2:00 pm Thursday, August 30, 2018. Reception will be held at 3:00 pm at El Paso Lodge #130 A.F & A.M.; 1505 Magruder St.; El Paso, TX 79925
