Help us celebrate Treva! Please share your stories and photos, and invite others who remember Treva.
WADSWORTH -- Treva J. Hastings, age 64, lost her battle with cancer on April 22, 2021. She was born in Greenville, Pa. on November 18, 1956 to the late Donald and Treva Conover.
Treva enjoyed anything Norman Rockwell and collecting bells. She loved hummingbirds, bowling, crafts, including cross-stitching, crocheting, making candles and soap, gardening and flowers. Treva loved all animals and pets, but most of all - she enjoyed time spent with her family. She was the best homemade pizza, lasagna, 7-layer salad and cheesecake maker. Treva was the most selfless, loving and caring individual - always worried about others before herself and would give the shirt off her back to help others in need. Her strength and determination will forever be an inspiration to us all.
Preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Treva Conover; sister, Linda Bocook; nephews, Brian and Chester Bocook; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Edith Hastings, Treva is survived by her husband, Russell; sons, Kevin (Sarah) and Kyle; brothers, Don (Sherri) and Bud Conover; sisters-in-law, Sharon (Mehran) Bidanjiri and Lisa Hastings; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends. Her grand-dog, Kayla (aka "Mutley") was patiently waiting to greet her at the gates of heaven. We will never forget your love for us, Mom. You will be forever loved, forever missed, and forever remembered.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth.
