Tony Cadle, 63, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2023, surrounded by his family and friends.
Tony was born August 28, 1959, to Andy and Kay Cadle in Wichita Falls, where he lived most of his life. Following graduation from S. H. Rider High School in 1978, Tony worked alongside his father in the car business. He began his own hauling business and later opened North Texas Wholesale where he primarily bought and sold cars to dealers in Wichita Falls and the surrounding areas. In addition to North Texas Wholesale, Tony worked at the Chevrolet-Cadillac Dealerships in Graham, Texas, and Santa Fe, New Mexico. In his later years, Tony was passionate about starting a new line of work in fencing and reclaimed wood.
Tony often talked about the rewards of hard work and active pursuits. Indeed, he was happiest outdoors. Dove, quail, and deer hunting were a part of his life in most seasons. He enjoyed boating, fishing, and lake activities. Tony boasted that he could water ski, as he said, “with and without the skis on!” Tony loved music and sports. He played football, and basketball, and ran track in his younger years. He loved every minute of coaching his son in little league activities. Throughout Tony’s life, seeing and learning how his children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews excelled at their sports or talents made him so proud.
Tony is known for his big heart and great love for all people. He could fill a room with his sense of humor and infectious personality. To him, there were no strangers and never a dull moment. Tony was passionate about life. He found joy in each and every day, even the very hardest.
Tony is preceded in death by his parents, Andy and Kay Cadle. He is survived by his son, Andy Cadle, and wife Hayley of Wichita Falls; daughter, Elaina Gage, and husband Derek of Arlington, TX; sister, Dedra Christoff, and husband Chris of Wichita Falls; stepmother, Pam Barger of Wichita Falls; stepbrother, Ray Avery of Austin, Texas; grandsons, Kaden Cadle and Kingston Hendrix of Wichita Falls; nephew, Travis Christoff, and nieces, Laura and Kate Christoff of Wichita Falls; and girlfriend, Cyndi Bindel of Rhome, TX.
