Tonya Walters Sloan age 56 passed away November 3 at Munson Medical Center from injuries sustained in an auto accident.
Born September 29, 1967 to Jacquline(Lucky) and Larry Walters. Lived in Mt. Clemens and moved to New Baltimore and graduated in 1985 from Anchor Bay High School. Worked at Selfridge Air Base for ServAir and moved with the company to New Jersey.
Married Darren Sloan in 1995 and moved to Winchester Kentucky. Worked for Codell Construction and DMA Construction. Divorced in 2013 and in 2016 moved to Cadillac. Recently worked for Fur Pups Sake grooming and boarding then at Meauwataka Store. Loved horses, her pets, sailing, gardening ad kayaking. Survived by her father Larry Walters, stepmom Kim Walters, stepdad Randy Patterson and stepbrother Brian (heather) Patterson. Predeceased by her mother Jaqueline Patterson.
