Robinson & Son Mortuary
Deacon & Sergeant Tommy Childs, 83 last and final assignment was completed on this side of heaven on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at the Charlie Norwood Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Augusta, Ga.
He was born on January 11,1941. He is the son the late Key and Lessie Richardson Childs. He is known to family as T.C.
He was a faithful, dedicated and devoted member of Jacob Chapel Baptist Church in which he served as a past Trustee and was appointed and anointed as a Deacon until his passing.
Services will be held, Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Noon, at Jacob Chapel Baptist church, Rev. Jerry Brown, Pastor and Officiating, burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be Monday, March 24, 2025, from 1-6 PM at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Online condolences may be sent to [email protected]. The family is at the home, 420 Pinetree Drive, in Greenwood, Services are being handled by Robinson and Son Mortuary Inc.
