Tommie Ray Pilkey, passed away May 9, 2020 after fighting cancer. We take comfort in knowing he is in Heaven. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Nettie Pilkey; brothers, Troy, Roy, and Glenn Pilkey; sisters, Betty Buchanan and Mary Sue Jones. He is survived by his sister, Annie Mae Anderson; brother, Eddie Dean(Brenda) Pilkey that helped so much during this time; nieces, Jeanette (David) Flanagan whom he trusted to take care of him, April Griffen who helped so much; great nieces, Shelby Marie Lequire that made him so happy when she would bring his great nephew Barxton White to see him. He was the best Uncle he could be to all of us, Malcolm, Shan, Leonard Inman, Billy, Tony Jones, David, Randy, Roy Pilkey, Glenn Pilkey Jr.; nieces, Macheala Humphrey, Connie Jones, Linda Kennedy, and Mary Davis; best friend, Tommy Brewster; and his church family at Ridgeview Baptist Church in Walland and Pastor Wayne Sexton. We would like to thank Summit View Medical Center of Farragut and all of their staff. Graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at Holston College Cemetery, Pastor Wayne Sexton officiating. Arrangements are with Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
