Timothy Gordon Griffin, age 57 passed away on July 21, 2022 at Williamson Medical Center.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, July 24, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Mike Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Oakley Cemetery. Born December 18, 1964 in Maury County, he was the son of the late Robert Griffin and the late Sara Jane Gordon Griffin. He was the grandson of the late Tolbert and Bertha Gordon and the late Elmer and Gladys Griffin.
Timothy is survived by his sister, Shari Stewart; sons, Triston Griffin, Jeremiah Griffin; niece, Heather Stewart (R.J.) Jones; nephew, Adam Stewart; great nephew, Hunter Stewart; and several uncles, aunts, and cousins.
In addition to his parents and grandparents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Tommy Stewart.
Timothy was a person of many things. He loved his family with great joy, going to horse sales as well as riding. There wasn’t much he couldn’t do or at least try. He was a person that his family loved with all their hearts.
Active pallbearers will be Triston Griffin, Adam Stewart, Hunter Stewart, Dalton Donavan, R.J. Jones, and Nathan Carney.
