Timothy Jacob "TJ" Green, age 56 days, died at home, in his parents' arms, on August 10, 2022. In the womb, TJ was diagnosed with Trisomy 18, multiple anatomical defects, and a complicated congenital heart defect. In his short life, TJ displayed an incredible amount of tenacity, perseverance, and fight. He amazed us daily with his strength and strong will. TJ loved being snuggled, was attentive every time someone read him a book, and seemed to be happiest when surrounded by family. Every day we had with him was a gift. The prayers of family and friends carried TJ and God did miracle after miracle in his little life. While we miss him dearly, we are also thankful for the miracle of his complete healing now. TJ is survived by his loving parents, Jacob and Tatum Green, of Tucker, GA and his favorite brother Sam, his adoring grandparents Scott and Ester Green of Morgan Hill, CA, and Tom and Pam Downs of Marietta, GA, and lots of doting aunts, uncles, and cousins. TJ, for his short life, was deeply loved by many, including wonderful nurses and doctors. A memorial service to celebrate TJ's life will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 11am at Mayes Ward Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta. There will be a visitation with the family beginning at 10am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The TJ Project at YWAM Atlanta (Youth With A Mission Atlanta). We want to honor TJ's legacy by making an eternal impact. This fund will provide for young missionaries to be trained and sent to share the love of Jesus in hurting places. https://www.ywamatlanta.org/contact-donate. We would also love to bless two organizations who supported the Greens so well during TJ's life: Journey Through Bereavement (https://www.journeythroughbereavement.org/donate) and Walk With Me https://www.walkwithme-nonprofit.org/donate).
