Tim worked at Custom Extrusions for 42 years where he started out as a machine operator and worked his way up the ladder to his last role as a Production Manager. He worked many years of swing shifts to finally land his day job for more consistency to his life. He wouldn't tell you, but he enjoyed the everyday challenges his work provided of figuring out the many tasks where each individual job where no two were the same to figure out. If you asked him "How was work?" he would often say, "It sucked!". This response was more of a frustration of wanting a better way to do the work faster and more productively rather than not loving what he did. He was very smart, talented, and creative. He invented many useful tools and created unorthodox gadgets to complete the challenging jobs at hand.
In addition to his love of golf, Tim was an outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, and gardening. A lot of the time with one of his much-loved dogs by his side. Most of all Tim enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a simple man with a charismatic attitude on life. Tim had the biggest heart and enjoyed making people laugh the most. At all the family gatherings he was the life of the party every time. He was known for his zippy one liners and laughing before he could get to the punch line. He had many stories he loved staring from the many years of hunting & fishing with his dad, brothers, friends, and his boys. He loved going on short getaways with his wife after all his years working to finally enjoy their time together.
Tim was most proud of his three sons and his 35 years of marriage. Tim married Laurie (Joyce) Briggs on June 6, 1987.
