Thomas "Tom" Webster "The Careful Craftsman", 88, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on 6/24/2020 at Gulfside Hospice in Hudson, FL with his daughters by his side. Tom was born in Syracuse, NY 4/12/1932 to Robert and Frances Webster. He graduated from Warners High School in 1950 with his best friend, Dave Walker. He married A. Sue Watson 5/28/1960 and they lived in the Webster Family home in Warners, NY until 1994. They then split their time between Rainbow Shores in Pulaski, NY and Hudson, FL before eventually living full time in Hudson. Tom drove school bus for 5 years, then worked at Solvay Process for 2 years. In 1962, he started his carpentry career working for a few builders before becoming "The Careful Craftsman" in 1970. Tom is survived by his sister, Doris (Dory) Chesebro of Camillus NY (who described him as a good, caring man and very easy going and also said she never saw him mad at anyone!); daughters, Kim (Rick) Palmer of Surprise AZ and Kathie (Carl) Spinner of Wasilla AK (who both say he never had a harsh word for anyone); 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren (with another on the way); brother-in-law, Carey (Diane) Watson of Plantation FL; and several nieces and nephews. Tom is also survived by his second family, consisting of many long-time, close and dear friends who meant so much to him. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sue Webster; parents, Robert and Frances Webster; brothers, Floyd "Skip" Webster, Robert Webster; and sister, Joy Kotlarz.
