Thomas Coleman Sosa Jr., 69, of Odessa Texas was called by Our Lord Jesus Christ on February 18,1951.
Our family and relatives called him Tomitto/Mitto and others Tomas.
Thomas was born on July 27,1951 in Big Spring, Texas to Thomas Coleman Sosa Sr. and Diamantina Sanchez Sosa.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, (1)brother, Estanislao, (1)sister, Rosemary. Thomas is survived by his (3) sisters, Cynthia S. Vasquez, Norma Sosa, Mary Katherine (Katy)Sosa, Olivia Carolyn Sosa. (1) Brother, Alexander Sosa.
Thomas was baptized at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Odessa, Texas on December 09,1951.
Thomas graduated from Ector High School in 1951 in Odessa, Texas and afterwards he went to
El Paso, Texas where he continued further in his education and training in his passion for Automotive (Mechanic) Technology program. As he began his career as an Automotive Service Technician, he worked alongside our father, A master mechanic himself and an uncle as well.
Later, Thomas took great interest in Auto Body/Repair & Painting. He had a passion in automobiles and his gifted talent in Auto Body & Paint in repairing and restoring cars became recognized and his enthusiasm led him to participate in entering Restored vehicles into Restoration Car Shows, this exemplified his skillful knowledgeable niche.
He would always help his friends and family with any mechanical issues and give of his time to those in need.
Thomas loved listening to music and going to local event concerts and he also enjoyed repairing and engineering Bikes, old stereos, TV's, clocks, lamps and appliances.
Thomas devoted his life to his career, family and friends. Thomas in his young adult life began having a mental illness health disorder and he was well aware of his circumstance as he accepted professional help and received treatment from mental health agencies.
In the last few years, Thomas took refuge in God and looked forward to going to a church he favored, aka-Luz del Mundo/ Iglesia Aqua Viva and he brought his sufferings up to God.
He shared his faith in God and his renewed joy of reference to the Holy Bible and of his admiration for the Pastor, his friend.
He contributed his gifts to family, friends and community.
Thomas in his final days of his life forgave all and ask forgiveness.
The family expresses gratitude to Permian Basin Community Centers for MHMR, Known as Permia Care.
A sincere thanks to the staff and his case worker at Permia Care.
Special Thanks to Mother, Diamantina who with much devotion cared for him ever so tirelessly.
Thanks to Olivia Carolyn who cared for him and assisted him through out the years and was at his side.

An Interment of Ashes Mass/Rosary/Ceremony at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church on 3/13/2021, Saturday afternoon.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Iglesia Agua Viva or St Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.
