Ott - Thomas D. Sr., 69, of Berlin, died on January 12, 2022 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born on March 4, 1952 in Somerset, son of Dean and Bertha (Zgett) Ott. Preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Gloria Jean Frazier, Jerry Ott, Teresa Jane Miller, and Sharon Miller. He was the last surviving member of his family. Survived by son Thomas Ott Jr. and daughter-in-law Leslie of Illinois and son David Ott, of California, grandchildren Amanda Ott, Jazel Ott, Julissa Ott, David Ott, and Deejay Ott. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and good friend George Zugrovich. Tom attended Shade High School and was an Army Veteran. He moved to Illinois and worked as a Plant Manager at Illinois Steel Service until retirement. He was a jack of all trades, from construction, plumbing, electrical, and automotive, he could do it all. Tom was a great father and an even better friend who will be sadly missed by all.
