Thomas Allen Martin

Thomas (Tom) Allen Martin, 84 years old of Edwardsburg, MI, passed to his rest April 17,

2025 at Elkhart General after an extended illness. He was born in Monticello, IN to Richard and

Sara Lou (Puterbaugh) Martin. He retired from a career in Sales and Administration for Elixir

Industries in 2002.

He is survived by his companion of many years, Paula Ferguson of Edwardsburg and

family, son: William Campbell (Colleen) Edwardsburg, MI, grandchildren: Justin (Savannah

Olson) Campbell of Chicago, IL and Jacob (Becca) Campbell of Mishawaka, IN. Also surviving is

his niece Cheryl (Gary) Madej of Aiken, SC and cousin Dianna Wilson of Frostproof, FL with

whom he had a special bond.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Richard (Dick), Michael,

Steven, and David.

Tom served in the National Guard for 10 years. He was an avid golfer, former PGA

member and a member at Four Lakes Country Club, Edwardsburg. If he couldn't't play golf, he

had plenty of pointers for his friends. He also enjoyed time with friends playing cards but

whenever he could his favorite hobby was traveling with Paula by his side.

Cremation has taken place. A Memorial gathering will be held at the Michiana Marine

Corp Riders Club, 29410 County Road 6, Elkhart, IN on May 3 from 12 noon to 4. In lieu of

flowers please consider donations to the Marine Corp Riders to assist in helping local vets or to

Cass County Cancer Service. He will be interred at McNitt Cemetery, Conklin, MI following a

family ceremony on Saturday, May 24.
