Thomas J. Kelly, III, 87, of Manchester, NH, died February 7, 2021, at Community Hospice House, Merrimack., after a period of failing health.
Born in Orange, NJ on November 30, 1933, he was the son of Thomas and Eleanor (Zabriskie) Kelly.
Tom proudly served and retired from the United States Air Force, after twenty years of service.
Until his retirement, he was a pharmacy technician with the Manchester VA Medical Center for twenty-eight years.
Devoted to his faith, he was a longtime communicant of Saint Pius X Church.
Known for his sense of humor, sharp wit, and quick jokes, Tom brought a smile and laugh to those around him. His kind, devoted, and caring disposition served as an example to many. He enjoyed reading, bowling, hunting, fishing, and collecting coins and stamps.
His marriage of fifty-nine years to Doris L. (Demers) Kelly was filled with faith, love, and compassion for others. She died May 14, 2019. He was also predeceased by his son, Thomas J. Kelly who died October 28, 2019.
Family members include two sons, Paul Kelly and his wife, Susan, of Manchester and Michael Kelly and his wife, Janine, of Bow; a brother, Denis Flaherty, of ME.
Services: A private mass of Christian burial was celebrated in Saint Pius X Church, Manchester.
Burial with military honors followed in New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.
