Thomas Aaron Hill died on January 15, 2021. He was born on February 4, 1947 in Carthage, Texas to Loreta Farmer Hill and Emit Elijah Hill. He was the fifth of seven children; four of whom preceded him in death. Thomas married Janet Hill in 1993, and together they had many memorable adventures traveling and seeing the world. He graduated from the Elysian Fields High School, Lon Morris College, The University of Saint Thomas, and Southern Methodist University. Thomas served four years in the U.S. Air Force with an eighteen-month tour in Viet Nam in the late 1960's.
He was the father of two children, Jennifer Watson and Joel Thomas Hill, and the proud grandfather of Darby Grace Watson, Aidan Elizabeth Watson, Cole Thomas Watson, and Lucia Danielle Hill. As a clergyman of the United Methodist Church, Thomas was a compassionate person who loved and served people and never hesitated to meet them at the point of their deepest pain. Friendship was one of the most important aspects of his life, as he maintained relationships for many years.
In 2017, he and Janet moved to the Lake Conroe area, and enjoyed their retirement on the lake.
