A graveside service for Thomas Jean Henderson, age 99 of Tyler, Texas, is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Bethesda Cemetery in Lindale, Texas under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale. Jean passed away Friday, September 6, 2024, in Tyler. He was born November 5, 1924, in Memphis, Texas to the late Thomas Ward and Nora Haseltine (Hicks) Henderson. Jean was a lifelong resident of Tyler where he a member of the First Baptist Church. He served his country in the United States Army during WWII and worked throughout his life as an aviation mechanic. He was the owner/operator of Tyler Aero Company. Jean enjoyed the outdoors, working on the farm, traveling, and spending time with his beloved family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Henderson and his sister, Mary Frances Henderson. Jean is survived by children, Pam Sigman and husband, Ken of Tyler, Patti Hogan and husband, Delbert Pullen of Lindale, and Steve Henderson and wife, Cindy of Marble Falls; sister, Joyce Massey of Wichita Falls; 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 1 on the way; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
