Thomas D. Healy, 60, passed away Monday, June 20, 2022, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Healy was born October 28, 1961, in Brooklyn, New York to the late Thomas P. and Margaret (McGroarty) Healy. He was raised in Manalapan, NJ before settling in Somerset.
Tom was most recently employed as a bus driver for Coach USA in New Brunswick. He was a parishioner of St. Matthias Church in Somerset. Tom was involved in coaching Little League, Pop Warner, and volunteering with the Somerset County 4-H in his children’s younger years. Tom’s favorite hobby was spending time finding and perfecting new recipe’s to be enjoyed with his family. He was a life long New York Mets and New York Jets fan. Above all, he was a family man and loved spending as much time as possible with his family.
Tom is survived by his wife of 31 years, Joyce Healy; his sons, Thomas J. and Eric M. Healy; his sisters, Patricia Newman and her husband Bill, Meg Mastandrea and her husband Tom, Tara Gaggin and her husband Tim and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Family and friends may visit on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 P.M. at the Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton Street, Somerset, NJ.
A funeral mass will begin at 10:30 A.M on Monday, June 27, 2022. at St. Matthias Church in Somerset. Committal services will continue at Franklin Memorial Park in North Brunswick.
