Thomas"Foos-Tica" Fatica, 66, passed away July 6, 2020after a short battle with lung cancer. Born in Akron, Tom had lived in the Tallmadge/Akron area most of his life. He retired in 2015 as a sub-contractor with Sievers Security, after over 30 years of installing security services. When he wasn't fixing something you didn't know was broken, you could find him watching a good cowboy movie. Tom enjoyed fishing at the nearby lakes; whether he was out in his boat or shore fishing, he knew all the good spots. He loved a good foosball match and he never hesitated to hit you with the fastest bank shot or Texas T. He made the best fried chicken and fish, and had mastered the best pizza dough recipe. He always made sure his children had everything they needed, and that kindness usually extended to everyone he knew. He was the "Greatest".
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfonso and Julia Fatica, son Thomas "Tommy"Fatica. Tom is survived by his daughter, Lauren Fatica of Cuyahoga Falls and brother, Michael (Debbie) Fatica of Delaware.
A private memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ohio Dept. of Natural Resources, DNAP 2045 Morse Road #A-2 Columbus, OH 43229 or The American Cancer Society.
