DEFIANCE - Thomas R. Dombroff, age 42 of Defiance, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital.
He was born on July 7, 1980 to Thomas E. Dombroff and Santos "Sandie" (Heredia) Reyes in Sylvania, Ohio. Thomas was a very talented and passionate music producer and songwriter. Thomas was a huge fan of the LA Lakers, Detroit Lions, and Notre Dame. He enjoyed song writing, producing music, photo shopping, and fishing. He was so proud watching his son develop his musical talent, and as a stay at home father he loved watching his daughter succeed in sports, especially basketball, and other activities. Both of his children brought so much joy to his life. Thomas proudly gave the ultimate gift of life as an organ donor. His smile, laughter, talent, and overall love will be sadly missed by his family and many good friends.
Thomas is survived by his mother, Sandie Reyes of Defiance, his father, Thomas (Karine) Dombroff of Toledo, OH, his son, Thomas Dombroff II of Mansfield, OH, and his daughter, Aaliyah Dombroff of Defiance. He also leaves behind his sister, Sarah Dombroff of Defiance, and step-siblings, Lisa Malone of Columbus, OH, Hilda Hernandez of Defiance, Ben (Mari) Reyes, Jr. of Corpus Christi, TX, and Simon (Hopie) Reyes of Defiance, his nephew Jason Hutchinson Jr., and his niece Amya Martinez, both of Defiance, and his great-nephew Lorenzo Hutchinson.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Bernardo Reyes Sr.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at UAW Memorial Hall, 2144 Baltimore Street, Defiance.
