Douglas A. Fiery
Thomas Lee Brewer, 83, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away, Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Doey's House.
Born Monday, August 19, 1940, in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Jesse Brewer Jr. and the late Hazel Virginia (Carpenter) Brewer. He was preceded in death by his first wife Romaine I. "Peg" Brewer in 2002 and later by his second wife Carolyn Brewer in 2024
Tom graduated from South Hagerstown High School in 1958, where he was very involved in sports especially soccer. He was employed with Bearings and Transmissions for 26 years and later with Hagerstown Kitchens retiring after many years.Tom was a member of Paramount Brethren in Christ Church, where he served in numerous roles.
He is survived by his daughter, Jody M. Brewer, sons, Andy T. Brewer and wife Krista and John M. Brewer, grandchildren, Layton Myers and Paislee Brewer.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Connie Mae Shifflett.
Services will be held Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 11:00 am, at Paramount Brethren in Christ Church, 19106 Longmeadow Road Hagerstown, MD, with Pastor Jacob Harrison officiating.
Family will receive friends at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, MD on Monday, July 29, 2024 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Interment will be at the Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown, MD.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Paramount Brethren in Christ 19106 Longmeadow Road, Hagerstown, MD 21742.
