Theresa McDonald Quick, 76 of Plano, TX passed away suddenly from this life on October 26, 2021. She was born April 20, 1945 in Bleckley County, GA. She graduated from A.L Miller High School in Macon, GA. She moved to Atlanta, GA, got married, and eventually moved to Irmo, SC. There she raised two boys and earned a Bachelor's Degree from the University of South Carolina. She spent the majority of her life in South Carolina, and she considered that to be her home state. Most recently, she moved to Texas to be closer to her sons and grandsons.
The light of her world was her family. She was a beloved daughter, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, niece, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She dedicated her life to her two sons, and her greatest joy was her grandsons. When she was around them she would say, "I'm in Grandma Heaven."
Her distinctive curly blonde hair was her trademark. Her vivacious personality and cheery positive demeanor lifted all that were around her. She will be dearly missed.
In her spare time, she was an avid reader and Fox News watcher. She loved to exercise including walking, yoga, and aerobics. As a devout Christian, she attended church regularly.
She was preceded in death by her mother Eugenia McDonald. She is survived by sons Matthew (Lauren) and Mark (Renata), grandsons Jack, Henry, James, and Thomas, and siblings JoAnne (James) Smith, Ray (Jenny) McDonald, Kathy (Eddie) Percival.
