Theresa P. Melillo, 95, widow of her beloved husband Thomas Melillo, Jr., died on Monday, February 22, 2021. She was born January 25, 1926 in Sicily, Italy, a daughter of the late Guisseppi and Rosaria Lombardo Gulla.
Surviving her is her children, Thomas Melillo, III (Suzanne) of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; Donna Eadie (Greg) of Forest, VA; Richard Melillo of Tarrytown, NY; Suzanne Melillo of Larchmont, NY; and Terrianne Riga (Donnie) of Sunset Beach, NC; one sister, Sarina Passeri of Pine Plains, NY; 6 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in North Myrtle Beach, SC and was retired from Liberty Mutual. She is also formerly from Eastchester, NY.
An inurnment at Arlington National Cemetery will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 1100 8th Ave. N., North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582.
