Theodore Joseph Janusz Jr., affectionately known as "Ted," passed away peacefully on March 30, 2024, at his home in Raymond, NH, surrounded by his devoted family. He was 81 years old.
Ted was born on March 13, 1943, in Manchester, NH, one of two children in his family. He attended Trinity High School in Manchester and furthered his education by completing an electronic program at a local technical school. In 1964, Ted bravely enlisted in the United States Navy, serving his country during the Vietnam War with honor and distinction. He was discharged as an electronics technician 3rd class in 1966.
Ted's dedication to his profession continued throughout his civilian career, where he served as an electronics technician for esteemed companies such as Sanders, Lockheed Martin, and BAE Systems, retiring from the latter around 2003. In March of 1994, Ted made Raymond, NH, his home, and on November 19, 1994, he found love and companionship with his beloved wife, Diane Lefebvre.
A man of community spirit, Ted was a former active member of the Hudson VFW and contributed his time and expertise to various Raymond town boards, including the Budget Committee and the Conservation Commission.He was also one of the foundering members of the Raymond Republican Town Committee. Despite his accomplishments, Ted was happiest at home, tinkering with his tools in his yard.
Ted's family fondly remembers his unique culinary preferences, noting his particular fondness for Cheerios in the morning, accompanied by a main course of green beans and potatoes, followed by his favorite dessert, coffee ice cream.
Ted was predeceased by his granddaughter, Bethany Wirick, but his legacy lives on through his loving family, including his devoted wife,Diane Janusz his precious daughter Liz Price who was also his caretaker and her husband Wayne, son, Thomas Williamson, daughter, Michele Williamson, and son, Scott Williamson, 5 grandchildren, Jessica Greenman, Justin Greenman, Joshua Greenman, Kayla Williamson, Brandon Price, 2 great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Iris, brother, William Janusz, and several cousins including, George and Emily Tremblay.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024 from 2:00-4:00 PM at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 2 Epping St., Raymond, NH. The funeral service will follow on that day at 4:00 PM at the funeral home with Naval military honors being rendered.
