Thelma Thompson Lowe, 96, formerly of Ninety Six, widow of Claude B. Lowe, was ushered into Heaven Tuesday, November 5, 2019.
Born in Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Ashton J. and Gussie Webb Thompson. She retired from Greenwood Mills- Sloan Plant and was a member of Ninety Six Church of God where she was formerly in the adult Sunday school class.
She was preceded in death by her husband along with her son, Charles B. Lowe of Lexington, KY.
Thelma is survived by her daughter, Mary Ellen Smith of Taylors, a sister, Myrtle Tucker of Corpus Christi, TX; ten grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Saturday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Oakbrook Memorial Park Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends before the service at the funeral home from 1-2 pm.
Thelma has lived at the Brian Center for 9 years in Hendersonville, NC. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff for loving her and caring for all her needs.
Family members are at their respective homes.
