Terry Peacock, 74, of Kingsland, Texas left this world on November 16, 2022. He was born to Gussy Peacock and Opal Cooke on November 3,1948, in Stephens County Texas at home.
He served as a Marine in the Vietnam War as a Mortar man from 1967- 1973. He then graduated from Sam Houston University with a bachelor's degree in 1981, later marrying his beloved wife of 41 years Rhonda Peacock. Terry was a determined and driven man, if you weren't 20 to 30 minutes early you were late. However, he was a stubborn man, it was his way or the highway. In 1992 Terry and his wonderful family moved to the Hill country.
Terry was a quiet man, and preferred to be at home watching football, or being outside working on just about anything he could get his hands on. He wore many hats, ranging from being a workaholic to a jokester.
He had eight siblings and was number five out of the eight, Terry enjoyed telling stories about his time in Vietnam. He had a special place in his heart from his grandkids, children, loving wife, and his dog Tooties. Those who had the pleasure of knowing Terry knew that he was a giver, he loved to feed anything and everybody.
Terry is survived by wife Rhonda Peacock, Daughters Gidget Thompson, Kalley Odom and husband Lacy. Son Chance Peacock and wife Cassie. Sister Judy Gail, 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many surrogate children.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister's Sherry, Rita, and Nelda. Brother's Gilbert, Curtis and Dale. His sweet, loving dog Tooties.
