Terry Michael Brandon (age 59) passed away peacefully in sleep on April 25, 2021 in Waldron, IN. He was born February 24, 1962 to Floyd and Julia (Ewing) Brandon in Los Angeles, California. Terry had a strong sense of humor, a charismatic personality, and a love of learning. He especially enjoyed researching law and other subjects at the local library. Terry is best known for his giving heart and touched many people's lives for the better.
While he faced many personal struggles, Terry always deeply loved Jesus. When he was younger, he enjoyed street preaching with his brother and friends. Terry's family is comforted to know that he is now able to fully understand that "neither death nor life, nor angels nor demons...or anything in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord," (Rom. 8:38-39)
Terry is survived by his mom, Julia Brandon; his brother & sister-in-law, Steve & Ginny Brandon & their daughter (Hannah); his sister, Ginger Brandon & her three children (Brent, Matthew, Sarah); and his brother & sister-in-law, Paul & Kay Brandon & their children (Kyle, Krystal, & Katie). Terry joins his father, Floyd, in heaven.
A visitation will be held at Stoneridge Baptist Church (104 N. Curry Pike Rd. Bloomington, IN) on May 27, 2021 at 2pm. A memorial service will follow at 3pm. Terry's family would like to thank Waldron Care Center for the love and care shown to him during his stays there. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Wheeler Mission or the Shalom Center.
