
Teresa Bernadette (Niadna) Dodds
Mon was a guiding light, the rock of our family and continues to be a powerful influence in our lives All that I am, I owe to my Mother a devoted and loving wife and mother, a giving and generous Aunt and doting Grandmother. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her. When she passed away, heaven gained another angel.
Teresa B Dodds, 68, of 11 Frederick Avenue, Denver, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, died Sunday at 2 p. m. in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, West Reading, Berks, Pennsylvania, where she had been a patient since Thursday, July 16, 1998.
She was the wife of Walter J Dodds, Jr.
Born in Middleport, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Anna (McAleer) Niadna.
She attended St Bartholomew’s Parochial School, Brockton, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania and Blythe Township High School, New Philadelphia, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing Bingo at her church, going to carnivals, fairs and festivals, and attending her grandchildren’s events.
Teresa was a member of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, Ephrata, Lancaster County Pennsylvania.
She is also survived by a son, Anthony P Dodds, Exeter Township, Berks County, and two daughters: Janet T (Dodds) Bortzel, Reinholds, Lancaster, Pennsylvania and Bernice J (Dodds) Pezzino, Lawrenceville, Gwinnett County, Georgia.
Other survivors include a sister, Loretta Marie (Niadna) Miklesavage, Middleport, Schuylkill, Pennsylvania; and a twin brother Bernard A Niadna, Woonsocket, Woonsocket County, Rhode Island.
There are also 4 grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother Daniel A Niadna and sisters: Rita Celeste (Niadna) Neider, Elizabeth “Betty” (Niadna) Burnett
A Mass of Christian Burial Will be celebrated Thursday, July 23, 1998 at 10 a. m. in Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church, Ephrata, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale, Berks County, Pennsylvania, Section: AA Lot: 83 Grave: 5.
